Sell Your Own Merch on Skite (Now in Invite-Only Beta)

Your audience already buys your courses, books your calls and joins your communities. Many of them also want something they can wear or hold: a hoodie with your logo, a cap from your brand, a tote bag they carry to class.
Until now, that meant a separate shop, a separate checkout and a separate link in your bio. Today we’re adding Merch to Skite, so physical products sit in the same store as everything else you sell.
Merch is launching as an invite-only beta. Read on to see how it works and how to get it turned on for your account.
What you can do with Merch
Add physical products to your store. Upload photos (and a video if you have one), write a description, and set your price. You can show a “was” price too, so buyers can see a discount.
Offer sizes and colors. Add the sizes and colors each product comes in, from S to XXXL. Buyers pick their size and color before they add the item to their cart.
Track your stock. Set how many you have. When stock runs low, buyers see how many are left (for example, “Only 3 left”), and when it runs out the product shows “Sold out”, so you never sell something you don’t have.
One store, one cart. Merch gets its own tab on your Skite store, next to your products and classes. A buyer can add a hoodie and a course to the same cart and pay once.
Delivery, built in
You pack and ship each order yourself, so you stay in control of quality and packaging.
When you set up Merch, you choose the state you ship from and set two delivery fees:
- a fee for buyers in your state
- a fee for buyers in other Nigerian states
Buyers see the delivery fee at checkout before they pay, with the total including delivery. For now, Merch delivery is Nigeria only, and Merch is priced in Naira.
Managing orders
Every Merch order shows up in your Sales, with the buyer’s delivery details, what they ordered, and the size and color they chose.
From there you can:
- mark an order as shipped so your buyer knows it’s on the way
- message the buyer about their order
- cancel an order if you can’t fulfil it. You give a reason, and the buyer is refunded.
Buyers can mark their order as received once it arrives. If something goes wrong, they can report the problem, and the Skite team steps in to help resolve it.
What it costs
There’s nothing to pay upfront and nothing taken out for production. Skite keeps 5% of each order, delivery fee included. The rest goes to your Skite wallet, just like your other sales.
How to get access (invite-only beta)
Merch is in beta, and we’re turning it on for creators in small groups so we can work closely with each one and get it right.
To join the beta:
- Send an email to hello@support.skite.co with the subject “Activate Merch”.
- Include the email address on your Skite account and your store link.
- Tell us briefly what you’d like to sell.
We’ll activate Merch on your account and email you back once it’s live. You’ll then see Merch in the Add Product menu on your Products page.
Why we built this
Skite’s goal is simple: everything a creator sells, in one place, with one link. Courses, digital products, live classes, communities, and calls were already here. Merch is the next step, so that your brand can show up in your audience’s wardrobe as well as on their screens.
We can’t wait to see what you make. Email hello@support.skite.co to get Merch activated on your account.
